Sheriff Alfonzo Williams and the entire Burke County Sheriff’s Office is very grateful to Georgia Power for providing us with a $5,000.00 community improvement grant. These grant funds are earmarked for Full Circle Refuge (https://www.fullcirclerefuge.org/) allowing us to continue transforming the lives of at-risk youth and juvenile offenders within Burke County.

BCSO Receives State and Federal Grants

At its Nov. 13th meeting the Burke County Commission accepted new grants on behalf of the sheriff’s office totaling $247,190.92 for 2019. The grant funding will provide for assistance with salaries, vehicles, maintenance and other related needs of the sheriff ’s office thanks to the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and the Waynesboro Housing Authority.
